The two most well known celestial objects, our Sun and the Moon almost aligned with the Earth in between. A perfect alignment would result to a lunar eclipse. In this case there was no eclipse, just a full Moon. As I was taking the photos at the top of a hill at Sounio, I had the opportunity to see the sunrise and the moonset at the same time. As the Moon was sinking deep into the horizon the Sun was rising fast, behind Makronissos island, gaining power every second.
Everyday miracles that most of us fail to observe, as we are so consumed in our every day routine...
