This image was taken from a distance of 2000 meters to the southwest of the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio, Greece. Three and a half months ago at the very same spot, a similar image was taken with the eclipsed Sun at the background. This time it was the Moon's turn to rise behind the famous monument! See also the green flash on the top of the Moon's disk. |
