This moonlit image was taken at Sounio, few hundred meters away from the temple of Poseidon. Shooting startrails under the full Moon's bright light creates a rather unusual scene. The landscape is fully illuminated and the sky is blue, just like in a daylight photo. This image is the result of 209 stacked consecutive shots displaying Saint John, a small deserted church, framed by some ruins from an old house. The sky is dominated by two kinds of trails. Star trails and cloud trails! Note the small gaps on the cloud trails, a result of the 1 second intervals between the shots. See also a timelapse and two more relevant photos:
