The second picture is a composition of the first one and an image taken earlier with the camera mounted on a tracking device. The most faint deep sky objects like most nebulas and galaxies cannot be combined with earthy foregrounds in one shot because during the long exposure required to capture these objects, they are a 'moving target' due to the Earths rotation. |
